SustainES sustainability calculations are fundamentally connected to a central calculation engine. The central calculation engine integrates international standards into the software, ensuring that calculations are evaluated according to predefined and verified rules. In the calculation process, which begins with the determination of the organizational structure and scope, facilities, activity areas, products, organizational boundaries, and time intervals are defined on the software. With the determination of boundaries and the making of necessary definitions, the data sets to be included in the calculations become clear. By entering sustainability data into the system and uploading the necessary files, all required data is brought together. Data entered into the system via the software is automatically converted into relevant units and becomes ready for calculation.
Calculations completed through algorithms integrated with standards minimize errors and allow results to be comparable across different periods or organizations. When a revision occurs in any data point, it is automatically applied to all calculations, the report is updated, and all changes are recorded with an audit trail.
